You will find Biblical solutions to the problems you face as a Christian in the city. There are many hindrances to making an impact with your faith in Jesus Christ. There is an enemy, within and without,who tries to hinder you from answering the call of God upon your life. Your faith has a purpose.
The man who lived in the tombs in the region of the Gerasenes had a calling upon his life. He could do nothing about it, until he had an encounter with Jesus. After Jesus delivered him of the legion of demons tormenting him, he went preaching in the Decapolis (Mark5:20). This man spread the gospel to 10 cities!
It is not easy living a godly life in the city. There are temptations and seductions at every corner you turn. Sometimes you manage to stay afloat and sometimes you fall. Others expect you to be perfect because you are a Christian, yet you are on the journey of sanctification.
Titus 2:11-12 tells us that it is only through the grace of God that we overcome ungodliness and worldly passions. Grace is found in Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Trying to change using our own strength will lead to failure. We are to turn to Jesus, our hope and salvation.
